Before you embark on this photographic adventure, please take your time to read through our rules. We believe in a positive and respectful experience for all participants. Thus, please take note of our guidelines so that every moment remains magical for everyone. Together, let us create unforgettable memories!

Before diving into the Picvetia 2024 adventure, make sure you read our full set of rules. Take your time to go through every detail. Understanding the rules is essential for successful participation. We look forward to sharing this unique experience with you!
Prices
Participants (cosplayers, photographers, videographers): CHF 50.00
Assistants: CHF 30
We are aware that the price is higher than for other events. But please understand that renting a venue in Switzerland with its high cost of living is much more expensive than elsewhere!
Date and venue
The event takes place in three different regions each year.
For 2025, the date and venue are as follows
14-15 June
Lake Neuchâtel region, Switzerland
Travel and accommodation
All logistics outside the event (accommodation, meals, transport) are at the expense of the participants.
We strongly recommend that you have a car available.
By registering, participants accept our general terms and conditions.
How do I apply?
The application period is 2 weeks and will be shared on our social media.
Applicants must fill in a form on the website and submit a portfolio of 8 to 10 photos.
Application period
From 1st to 29th December 2024 by submitting a portfolio under the “2025 Application” tab.
The results will be announced by e-mail on 19 January 2025.
How is the selection made?
All applications will be examined on the grounds of the following criteria:
For photographers: lighting, composition and editing. We strongly recommend that you vary your submissions and avoid studio work or composings. For cosplayers: quality (however, purchased costumes are permitted), make-up and posing experience.

Cosplayers and photographers are chosen equally (50:50).
Duo
We accept cosplayer duos; however, duo cosplayers will not be allowed to book individual slots and both participants will have to pay the fee.
Assistants
The number of assistants is unlimited.
After the selection process, assistants may register by paying the registration fee.
